Remember when The Transformers hit the big screen in mid 2007 that got everyone talking. Why? Simple. When most of us are in our adolescent, we will jump in joy when our favourite cartoons are back with fresher look and better definition especially in the 21st century.

However, what you probably didn’t know is that at the end of the movie – typically end credit, a hint of upcoming sequel was shown where Starscream took off. The movie satisfied almost most of us, and typical talk of the town was when is the next sequel will be out. Also, not forgetting the ever shocking rumors about Megan Fox who <em>was</em> actually a guy. Still, I don’t see any of that become an excuse for anyone to not miss the new sequel.

Alas, the long anticipated has ended when the movie, <a href=”http://www.transformersmovie.com/”>The Transformers; Revenge of The Fallen</a> releases on the June 16th, 2009. To book a single ticket at any movie outlets was hopeless. It’s either the system was jammed or you can’t even get any tickets. Free tickets were given out by companies through contests. Long queue, and what’s more frustrating than knowing the tickets has been sold out when it comes to your turn? These are the few things showing that the movie is worth the spent. Nevertheless, let’s get into the movies, so to those who have not yet seen the movie, beware!

Director  Michael Bay, did the same version of beginning of the movie which concentrates more on the life of the main characters, Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf), Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox). Later on, crisis surfaced when Decepticon, The Fallen is on a mission to get the remaining piece of Cube because it has got valuable  knowledge that can lead to the eternal power.

Optimus Prime, the wise Autobots later on seek help from Witwicky to get the support and attention from human kind which was a bbit too late by the time they need their help. So they battle against the bad force which is super duper complicated and full of suspense except better this time. Lined up with the same old casts with some new faces, they really outgrow compare to the first movie. Throughout the movie, audience will get more surreal fighting scene that this 2 and a half hours movie will never gave you the chance to doze off for five minutes – unless if you are really sleepy.

At times, the audience broke into laughter especially when it comes to the ever adorable Bumble Bee. However, the ending was a bit too cliche when Sam died for a while, then who to the rescue? I bet you know who. Plus, The Fallen was surprisingly easy to handle.

According to <a href=”http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1055369/keywords”>IMDB</a&gt;, John Tortutto cried when he was allowed to climb on pyramid while filming in the Egypt and told Michael Bay,

<em> ” You just don’t get to do this in movies. You don’t get to shoot in a place that’s 4000 years old.”</em>

Anyhow, I reckon that this is a film not to be missed this year not just because it is one of the old-school cartoon, but somehow it is one of the movies that you could enhance your imaginary and reminisce the past at the same time. Transformers 3 you asked? Well, you just have to go and watch for yourself to know because there is official word about it – yet.
