Taken is one good example movie about relationship between a father and his daughter, directed by Pierre Morel. Watching this movie, it will prove how much a father loves his daughter even though they are not staying in the same roof anymore. He will sacrifice anything including his life to save and protect his daughter.

“I don’t know who you are but if you don’t let my daughter go i will find you and i will kill u..”

Bryan Wills (Liam Neeson) is a former secret agent living in the US, divorced, who is faced with recovering his daughter after she is kidnapped by human trafficking or known as sex traffickers in Paris. He has retired from the Agency as a preventer to live in the US to protect and to be near with his beloved 17-year-old daughter (Maggie Grace) who lives with her ex-wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen) and her new husband, Stuart.

Bryan is strong, tough and good father whose has skilled in hand to hand combat. He’s very protective of her daughter and he wants to build his relationship with Kim in US.

One day, Kim wants to have launch with him because she wants to take a few days vacation in Europe with her friend, Amanda and she needs Bryan to sign the parental approval. Bryan is unwilling to agree and allow her to go when knowing of how dangerous is several wrong parts in Paris and he knows how the world is like.

After he thinks about that, Bryan later shows up at the Stuart’s house with the signed statement of consent, but with three conditions. Kim have to inform him the address and the phone number of where and with whom she will be staying every time she move, call him when she land and every night before she go to sleep with an international cell phone that he give to her with his number is in, and he get to take her to the airport. Kim is so excited and surprised.

In the airport, Bryan is worried and angry when he found out that his daughter lied to him. The girls not just stay in Paris but they are going to follow U2’s European Tour. But it’s too late to do anything about it.

When they arrived in the French airport, they share a cab with a stranger named peter and Amanda tells him that they are alone in Paris. Actually he is a bad guy who’s looking for young women to be sex traffickers. Kim forgot to call her father until she arrived at Amanda’s cousin apartment. Suddenly, her father call her phone and she pick it up. While she talking to Bryan, she saw a few guys come to the apartment and took Amanda from view across the window in the bathroom. She scared and Bryan asks her to hide under the bed in the next bedroom. He knows that she will be taken and he wants Kim scream out any description as many as she can about them.

Bryan immediately travels to Paris to find Kim and the kidnapper of his daughter. He will kill every single of them with a very particular set of skills that he have acquired over for a very long career who’s try to hurt her daughter. After he investigated all the information to find his daughter for a few days, he found out that one of the Arab clients bought her daughter.

Finally he found Kim with the Arab old guy and kills all the criminals and Albanian slavers including that Arab guy. Kim is free and back to US to meet her mother. Lenore thanks to Bryan to rescue their daughter, Kim.

Maybe Taken is not a very new movie that we will excite to watch but it’s a good movie and nice to know. The storyline is interesting and the way this movie been acted and created is very impressive. Liam Neeson is very good on this character as Bryan Wills. How we wish that we all have this kind of father who is excellent in fighting and has skills in hand to hand combat right. So, watch it and don’t miss it!
